Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani said that around 15th March 2031, all the hospitals in Gujarat had 21 thousand beds for Corona patients. The number has been increased to about 4 thousand today. Similarly, medical, nursing, pharmacist, lab-tech and class-4 staff serving honorary service in government hospitals will be given more incentive pay for the next three months.
He said that by increasing the current salary of outsourcing staff nurses working in class-3 level in government hospitals, a monthly salary of Rs. The state government has decided to pay an honorarium of Rs 50,000. The newly recruited nurses will also be given an honorarium.
He added that the government has decided to provide similar honorarium to such ad hoc doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technicians as well as Class-III employees currently working for corona patients in government hospitals for the months of May, June and July.

According to the latest AICPI data, the inflation allowance for January to June 2021 could increase by at least 4 per cent.
