With the resolution dated 19/06/2071 against the number (1) taken by the education department, instructions have been circulated to continue the direct teaching work in all streams of Std. 12 in the secondary and higher secondary schools of all the boards of the state. Then on 9/08/2021. In the meeting of the core committee held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, a decision has been taken to start direct education work in all secondary and higher secondary schools of the state from Std. 09 to Std.

Pursuant to which the following instructions are circulated:

Attendance in offline / direct learning work will be mandatory for the students and for those students who do not voluntarily join the offline direct learning work, the system of online education will continue as before. For the actual teaching work, written consent form has to be obtained from the parents of the students in the attached form,

(5) Students should be called for classroom education as per alternate day within the limit of 90% capacity in the classrooms and adequate distance between any two students in the classrooms. Social Distancing should be strictly observed. In addition, proper sanitation of the classroom should be done regularly from time to time and adequate hand washing / sanitization points should be maintained in the premises of the institution.

(6) All academic and non-academic staff and students of the school must wear face masks properly and strictly follow the CovidAppropriate Behavior.

રાજ્યમાં ૧૬ માર્ચ, ૨૦૨૦થી કોરોનાના પહેલા દોરમાં શાળા-કોલેજો બંધ કરાઈ હતી, તે ૩૦૨ દિવસ બાદ ૧૧ જાન્યુઆરી, ૨૦૨૧થી ક્રમશઃ ૧૮ ફેબ્રુઆરી, ૨૦૨૧ના ગાળામાં ફરી શરૂ કરાઈ હતી, પરંતુ બીજી કાતિલ લહેર શરૂ થતાં ૧૮ માર્ચ, ૨૦૨૧થી તમામ શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓ ફરી બંધ કરી દેવાઈ હતી અને હવે ૯૮ દિવસ બાદ નવા શૈક્ષણિક સત્રના પ્રત્યક્ષ વર્ગો શરૂ કરવા વિચારણા શરૂ થઈ છે.

કરવા જણાવાયું હતું, કેમ કે સ્કૂલો ખોલવાનો નિર્ણય આખરે તો કોર કમિટીમાં લેવાય છે, એમ જાણવા મળ્યું છે.

પાટણ, રાજકોટ અને સુરેન્દ્રનગર જેવા ૧૩ જિલ્લામાં તો કોરોનાના એકપણ નવા કેસ નોંધાતા નથી, જ્યારે અમદાવાદ જિલ્લો સહિત ૧૮ જિલ્લામાં પણ એક-બે-ત્રણ કેસો જ નોંધાઈ રહ્યા છે. તેથી શિક્ષણ વિભાગ પણ ઓનલાઇન શિક્ષણ વર્ગો ચાલુ રાખી મરજિયાત રીતે ઓફલાઇન વર્ગો શરૂ થાય તેવો અભિપ્રાય ધરાવે છે.

 In Gujarat, the number of active cases has come down to 5159 due to the declining number of cases of corona virus, out of which 86 patients are on ventilators.  The total death toll due to Corona virus in the state has reached 10037.

 Out of 135 cases in Gujarat, the highest number of cases have been reported in Ahmedabad city, 30 in Ahmedabad city and 14 in Surat city.  10 cases have been reported in Rajkot city while 8 cases have been reported in Vadodara city.

 Currently, the second wave of corona in Gujarat has calmed down and now only about 150 cases are coming daily.  As well as business-employment has gone up.  Thus the state is now heading towards complete unlock.  Now the state government is also considering unlocking education in phases.  The government has started the exercise to start schools by August 15.

 A preliminary discussion on this has been started in the cabinet meeting held today.  The central government has also asked all the states to report on starting offline schools.
