The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the result of the standard 12 board today at 2 pm, the Supreme Court had given a deadline of July 31 to announce the result. Students can check their result on the official website cbseresults.nic.in.

Result prepared this way
As per the criteria decided by the board, the result of standard 12 this year will be declared on the basis of 30:30:40 formula. According to the marking scheme, in Std. 10 and 11 out of 5 subjects in which the students have scored the highest, the same subject will be selected to prepare the result. The result will be prepared based on the marks obtained in standard 12 unit, term and practical exam.
30:30:40 What is the formula?
The panel formed by CBSE has decided 30:30:40 formula for the result of standard 12 students. Under this 30% weightage will be given to the final result of standard 10-11 and 40% weightage will be given to the pre-board exam of standard 12. The CBSE had on June 4 constituted a 13-member committee to decide on the marking scheme.

For standard 12, students have to write the school code along with the name of the parents. Students can learn this code by calling their school.
