Matter of celebrating Independence Day 15th August 2021







Every year national holidays are celebrated with great pomp and fervor all over the country. This year also Independence Day 15th August 2021 will be celebrated with the same grandeur and enthusiasm. Currently, the epidemic of Nautal Corona Vice Covid-197 is widespread. As part of some preventative measures to prevent the spread of COVID-1 infection, wear a mask to maintain social distinction. The guidelines on Covid-19 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India regarding proper sanitation, non-mobilization of large numbers of people, protection of people at risk, etc. have to be followed. Remains to be done. Independence Day should not be celebrated in large numbers and maximum use of technology should be made at the state level, district level, taluka level and village panchayats. For this, necessary instructions have also been given from the letter read by the Government of India. With regard to the celebration of the next Independence Day on 15th August 2021, the above mentioned limitations and preventive measures will have to be taken into consideration.


Independence Day 201 at district level, taluka level and gram panchayats


The celebration should be as follows.

Hon'ble Chief Minister will hoist the National Flag at Junagadh (9:00 Clark), National Anthem will be played. Guard of Honor will be given by the police including Para Military Force, Home Guard, NCC, Scouts etc.; Hon'ble Chief Minister will inaugurate, National Anthem will be sung.


(2) Invite health workers who have served to prevent the epidemic of COVID-19, such as doctors, health workers, senates, etc., as well as those who have recovered from a severe situation by voting against Corona. To invite freedom fighters to this event.


(3) To invite about 200 dignitaries / leading citizens of Junagadh city and Junagadh district to the BATDOM program to be organized at Junagadh district on the eve of Independence Day.


(4) As part of the Independence Day celebrations, a state level cultural program will have to be organized at Junagadh on 19/06/2021. The number of invitees to this program should be limited to 1000 (one thousand). The live broadcast of the state level cultural program should be done in the cultural program organized by the taluka level.



(1) The national flag will be hoisted at the district headquarters by the Hon'ble Minister, District Collector at the district headquarters along with the above mentioned matters. Police forces. Will be paraded by Home Guard, CC Scouts etc. The speech will be given by Hon'ble Minister Shri District Collector. The national anthem will be sung




To invite health workers who have served COVID-19 Malmari Nivaswa, such as doctors, felicit workers, sanitation workers, etc., as well as those who have recovered from a serious situation against corona. Apart from this, the number of invitees should be kept at 200 to invite distinguished artists / sportspersons of the district - dignitaries who have made special contributions in any other field.


A copy of the minute-to-minute program in this regard will be included in the program.




Sub Divisional Magistrate / Mamlatdar will hoist the National Flag at the Taluka Headquarters (after 200 hours): National Anthem will be played. The national flag will be unfurled by Manubhav; The national anthem will be sung.

Change in the date of Holiday on account of Muharram.

The undersigned is directed to say that holiday on account of Muharram was notified for 19th August, 2021 vide this Department's O.M. No. 12/9/2020-JCA2, dated 10th June, 2020, subject to change in date, depending on sighting of the Moon. Now the Ruiyat Hilal (Moon Sighting) Committee, headed by Shahi Imam, Jama Masjid, Delhi, has announced that, in Delhi, Muharram would be observed on 20.08.2021(Friday).

Accordingly, in Delhi/New Delhi, the Holiday on account of Muharram will be observed on Friday, the 20th August, 2021 and all Central government Administrative Offices, located in Delhi / New Delhi, shall remain closed on account of Muharram on 20th August, 2021. 3.
