Subject: Downloading of Voter Helpline App (VHA) by electoral officials - regarding.
I am directed to refer to the Commission's letter cited under reference above, vide which the Commission has already ordered the programme for Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls with reference to 01.01.2022 as the qualifying date (SSR, 2022) in your State/UT.
2. Now, the Commission has directed that in order to give wide publicity to the Commission's Voter Helpline Mobile App (VHA) amongst the electors/citizens for the purpose of registration in electoral rolls, all the electoral officials involved in revision process i.e. DEOS/EROS/AEROS/ BLO Supervisors/BLOs shall be instructed to download the VHA mobile App on their mobile phone and make best possible efforts to popularize the use of the App amongst the electors.
3. A user Manual on VHA mobile App is being forwarded herewith for use of electoral officials as a reference document.
4. In view of the above, it is requested to take necessary action as mentioned at para 2 above and submit a compliance report to the Commission latest by 15th September, 2021.
