Government employees will be able to enjoy a maximum of two discretionary holidays on the above mentioned festival occasions without religious instruments of their choice. Such application shall be made in writing in advance for permission to enjoy the leave and generally the appropriate officer approving the casual leave shall give permission in view of the importance of summary work. The leave taken by government employees for these two festivals of their choice will not be borrowed as part of their casual leave.
If any of the above Muslim holidays do not come on the announced day, then the festival which Muslim employees of the government can be given a voluntary leave on the day when the day is actually celebrated.

The Government of Gujarat may close their quarterly accounts on Thursday, April 1, 1031/11, Chaitra, 18 for the Banks in the State of Gujarat, Gujarat State Salary and Accounts Office, Treasury / Sub-Treasury Cherries. The start continues as a public holiday.
