New delhi date. ૨૯ | Nutrition has been planned. Under the scheme, the PM will rename the National Mid-day Meal Scheme, which operates in kindergarten government and grant-aided schools and also covers pre-primary students, the government said today.
Hot cooked food to be provided to 11.60 crore children of more than 11.5 lakh government and grant aided primary schools
Today, cooked food was given to the children under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi. The PM nutrition scheme was approved in the cabinet meeting held. Under this scheme, lunch will be provided to 11.40 crore children of more than 11.5 lakh government schools. Currently the government has decided to run this scheme for the next five years. This will cost a total of Rs 1.31 lakh crore.
