Gov decided to give the benefit of 10 percent reservation to the category of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) by the resolution of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department mentioned in No. (1) taken in the introductory reading.
According to resolution No.-(3) read by the Education Department, the rules for eligibility test for primary teachers were made, which in point No.-3(a) of the resolution, 'Teachers in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, Socially and Educationally Backward and Handicapped. Eligibility test must be passed with 55% marks. In the present matter, the State Examination Board read the letter No. (4) read as per Resolution No. (2) proposed to give percentage benefit to EWS economically weaker sections category. , which matter was under the consideration of Govt.
Amendment Resolution- As per No. (3) read by the Department after mature consideration, provision No.-3(a) of the resolution of the Education Department dated 27/04/2011 should include the category 'Economically Weaker Sections - EWS'.
