The rules for transfer of teaching assistants/ assistant teachers of government secondary and higher secondary schools have been published by the state government. In these rules, teaching assistants/ assistant teachers who have completed at least 2 years of service have to apply online for district transfer.

Provision is made to apply through the office of the district of one's original appointment. This application has to be certified by the principal of the school and the district education officer and sent to the office of the commissioner of schools.
Department/ Subject wise State Level Provisional List will be published by the Office of the Commissioner Schools after receipt of applications within the prescribed time limit. After getting the approval of the office of the Commissioner of Schools, Gandhinagar, the final online list will be published and the district transfer orders will be done online only.
The responsibility of compulsory dismissal of the teaching assistant/ assistant teacher due to transfer order in the camp is assigned to the Principal and District Education Officer of that school and provision is made to upload the orders online after dismissal.
