Another important decision has been taken by the Gujarat State Board of Education today. Students are asked to conduct a diagnostic test before the new semester begins. Now that the Koro epidemic has subsided, the government is slowly unlocking it. That is when the Board of Education has decided to take a diagnostic test of students before the new semester in schools. Students who take a diagnostic test to know the learning loss of the previous standard before entering the next standard. It is learned that the Board of Education will conduct a diagnostic test in Std.9, 10 and 12 to know the level of study and teaching. Unit tests will be conducted periodically after the diagnostic test. The diagnosis test of standard 9, 10 and 12 students will be taken before the new semester.

The diagnostic test will be conducted in schools from July 10 to 12. The diagnosis test of standard 3 to 12 students will be taken. Diagnostic test question papers will be provided by the board for this test. Diagnosis test of Mathematics, Science and Social Science subjects will be held in Std. While in Std. 12 Science stream, diagnostic test of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects will be held. Question paper will be prepared from standard 11 syllabus. In the standard 12 general stream, a unit test will be held on the basic elements of Nama, Commerce, Statistics, Psychology, Sociology, Geography and Philosophy. In which question papers will be prepared from standard 11 syllabus.
Question papers based on standard 8 subjects have been prepared for standard 9 diagnostic test. The course of the diagnostic test will include useful chapter topics from its next standard course. The question papers for this diagnostic test will be sent to the DEO by the board on July 7. The question paper will be posted on the board's website on July 8, with students taking one test daily from July 10 to 12, the board said. The answer book written by the student on 13th and 14th July will have to be returned. Subject wise result will have to be prepared on 30th July. Mark will have to be uploaded from school level in the first week of August. This will be an examination to find out how much learning has been lost in the Corona period. However there is no need for students to panic for this.
