Subject: Regarding the planning of periodic assessment test for students of Std. 6 to 8 in the month of July.
According to the above subject and context, during the COVID-19 period, in the new academic session of the year 2021-2, the process of various home learning is being implemented in the schools of the state like last year. It is requested to take further action from your level in view of the following matters regarding the periodic assessment test to be taken as per the routine in July 2021 for the purpose of assessment along with the main home learning.
The following subject tests will be conducted in Std. 6 to 8 in the month of July.
Gujarati (first language), Mathematics
Gujarati (first language), Mathematics
Gujarati (first language), Mathematics, English
Marks 25
Gujarati (first language), Mathematics, English 20
Gujarati (first language), Mathematics, English
Gujarati (first language), Mathematics, English
. For other medium, first language test will be taken instead of Gujarati.
Gujarati (second language) will be tested instead of English in English medium.
The above first periodical test of the session will be prepared keeping in view the learning outcomes of the previous standard in that standard for the purpose of knowing the current academic status of the students. E.g. Gujarati test in Std. 8 will be prepared keeping in view the learning outcomes up to Std.
The above periodic evaluation tests dt. To be held from 30/02/2071 to 9/09/2071. Tests should be delivered to the students in hardcopy or softcopy by 12/04/2021.
. Tests of all mediums will also be made available on JERCERT website (www.gcert.gujarat.gov.in) on 30/09/2021. Apart from this Gujarati medium tests which can also be obtained from the QR Code on the Index of the textbook of that subject.
The above tests are expected to be written by the student from home under the supervision of the parent at the convenience of the parent and the student. The purpose of the test is to know the academic status of the student. It is desirable that the students give the test in a fear-free and stress-free environment.

According to the above topic and context with Jai Bharat, various home learning efforts have been undertaken by the Education Department of the Government to maintain continuity in the study of students in the situation of Kovid-12. For the year 2020-2021, the Government has recently canceled Mass Promotion in Std. 9th to 11th and Std-12 examinations and fixed the marks according to the assessment procedure. In such circumstances, to conduct a diagnostic test to know the learning loss of the previous standard before entering the next standard Determined by the department. This diagnostic test is only to know the current level of study teaching level, based on the result of which information about learning loss will be obtained. It is therefore desirable that the student take the test without any fear and with a definite healthy mindset. Following the diagnostic test, unit tests of various subjects will be conducted in parallel as per the above reference resolution.
The following is the schedule of the diagnostic test to determine the learning loss of students before the commencement of the new semester course in the month of July.

Question papers will be sent to DEO Shri by the Board on the official E-MAIL ADRESS with a password protected file.
DEO Mr. The SVC will send the question papers to the convener at E-MAIL ADRESS with a password protected file.
The sc convener will send the question papers to all the secondary and higher secondary school principals in a password protected file on the official E-MAIL ADRESS as well as the question papers will be placed on the website www.gseb.org.
Students will take a test in which they will write a daily paper.
Return written answer books from students.
To prepare the subject wise result of all the students by 30th July 2021.
Mark will have to be uploaded in the first week of August at Command and Control Center, Gandhinagar. If the instruction is circulated separately
According to the above schedule, the test will have to be organized at the district level keeping in view the following instructions
- Diagnosis test of Std. 9, 10 and 12 to be taken in the year 2021-2022 and entry of marks of all unit test from school level has to be done on the portal of Command and Control Center, Gandhinagar.
• It is therefore mandatory to have DISE CODE of all the school and child unique ID number of all the students of the school. Also, entry should be made according to each student's stream (science stream / general stream / other stream). The school will have to update this detail immediately.
The school will have to plan strictly adhering to the above schedule.
• Standard wise diagnostic test subjects and syllabus are shown in Bidan-1. The syllabus of the diagnostic test of that standard includes useful chapter points from the syllabus of its next standard (PREVIOUS STANDARD) (e.g. prepared question papers based on the subjects of standard 8 for the standard 9 diagnostic test).
. The principal will be responsible for the evaluation of the answer book of the diagnostic test by the subject teachers of the standard in which the student is studying.
Students have to prepare the subject wise and question wise result by July 30 (eg to prepare the question wise result according to the marks of all the questions 1 to 31 of the standard 12 sociology subject diagnostic test of a student named Madhavi.) Sample of result sheet is included in enclosure-2. . According to which the result has to be prepared in the EXCEL Sheet and displayed on the school record, on the basis of this result the marks have to be entered on the portal of Command and Control Center (CCC) Gandhinagar.
In the first week of August, at the Command and Control Center at Gandhinagar, the subject wise and question marks of each student will have to be entered through SARAL DATA APPLICATION. Whose detailed instruction will be circulated separately.
Thus, you will inform all the secondary and higher secondary school principals of your district about the above instructions, as well as all the secondary and higher secondary schools in the district will follow this diagnostic test program in a timely manner.
