The 144th Rathyatra of Lord Jagannath has started today in Ahmedabad city after a gap of two years between Corona. The traditional ritual started with Mangala Aarti from 4 am. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated the rathyatra with a gold broom in the temple premises. Divyabhaskar's two journalists are constantly giving live updates along with the chariot. Currently the chariot of God is running at a speed of 0.4 per kilometer. The three chariots proceeded after a 5 minute break in Khadiya and reached Bhagwan Mosal at 8:30 am The DJ’s beat mameru has started in Saraspur. Tight curfew is being observed in Kot area. People have walked from Relief Road to Kalupur railway station. Police checkpoints have been set up at a distance of 500 meters.

The state government has imposed curfew on the route of the rath yatra and allowed the rath yatra to take place. Last year the chariots of the Lord only returned to the temple premises. Curfew has been imposed on all the routes from which the chariot will depart. In just five hours, the Lord's chariot will return to its temple after completing the 22 km route and the rathyatra will be completed.

Vehicles coming from Naroda to Memco will be able to turn left from Memco crossroads towards Bapunagar-Rakhial-Amraiwadi.
Vehicles coming from Sony's Chali will be able to turn from Rakhial Char Rasta to the right, turn left from Memco and go to Gomtipur - Maninagar - Danilimda.
Vehicles coming from Narol will be able to go from Danilimda to Ambedkar Bridge and Ashram Road.
From Ashram Road to Subhash Bridge Circle, Inscription to Char Rasta, Shahibaug Dafnala, Airport can be transferred. Danilimda-Gomtipur-Maninagar can be reached through Ambedkar Bridge.

Curfew in 10 police station area until 2pm on Monday
The procession will pass through Gaikwad Haveli, Khadia, Kalupur, Shaherkotda, Dariapur, Shahpur, Karanj, Madhavpura, Danilimda and Sabarmati Riverfront East M 10 police station areas. Rathyatra will be monitored by 15 drones
The falcon will be monitored by 15 drone cameras to monitor all movements at different locations along the entire route of the chariot. The Home Minister also said that there would be no halt for distribution of prasad or reception at any place on the scheduled route of the rath yatra.

There are 7 DCPs, 14 ACPs, 44 PIs, 98 PSIs in the Dariapur police station area on the route of the Rathyatra. Including Head Constable-Police Constable, SRP / CRP will be on hand.
