To realize the dream of "Well-fed India Year-206", various activities have been carried out by various departments of the state government as a campaign to develop "Kitchen Gardens" in all the schools in the year 2021.
Various activities have been undertaken by the State Government and the Departments as a campaign to realize the dream of "Suposhit Bharat-Varsha-207". "Kitchen Garden" in every school is included in the flagship program of the year 2021. The purpose of the Kitchen Garden is to cultivate vegetable plants and fruit trees according to the season to provide better nutrition to the children benefiting from the mid-day meal scheme on the school premises and to use them free of cost in the mid-day meal scheme.
The rainy season is currently active in the state of Gujarat. Currently there is a favorable environment for growing new plants and seedlings.
