National Means Come Merit Scholarship (N.M.M.S) scheme for students studying in class-8 in order to enable bright students from poor economic status in the state to complete their studies up to class-12 and reduce the drop- out rate in secondary and higher secondary schools. Merit students are eligible for scholarship from class-9 if they have the prescribed eligibility.

The scholarship amount will be directly deposited into the student's bank account by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, Delhi. For this, the details of the student's bank account and Aadhaar number should be entered in merit on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) in the next possible month of July-2024 after admission in class-9. The student has to submit an online proposal and get it verified by the school.

Guidance of District NMMS Nodal shall be sought wherever required. The contact numbers of all concerned district NMMS nodals can be obtained from the board's website www.sebexam.org. The admission school in class-9 has to check the eligibility conditions of the student.

It is the responsibility of the concerned student to apply for the scholarship on the NSP (National Scholarship Portal) within the deadline, as per the instructions mentioned on the portal. This application is online

The scholarship will be available only to students admitted to the Body School.
