Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi, Ahmedabad, under the auspices of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, has organized a state level online painting competition on the theme "Mahatma Gandhi" as part of the ongoing "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" program as part of the 7th Independence Day celebrations. School children studying in Std. 1 to 12 will be able to participate in this painting competition. The contestant will be able to submit a maximum of one masterpiece for the competition. These works will be inspected by the award-winning expert artists and three winning artists will be selected from them.
Out of these selected artists, three prizes of Rs. 5,000 / - will be given to the first winner, Rs. 5,000 / - to the second winner and Rs. 5,000 / - to the third winner.
