Subject: Regarding the planning and implementation of the first examination of Std. 09 to 12
Jayabharat under the above subject to state that as per the reference letter (1) from the academic year 2020-21 by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education from Std. The question papers and timetable of unit test and first examination, second examination (prelim examination) as well as annual examination of standard 9 and 12 will be sent to the district level every month by the board. Apart from that, the above test / examination question papers and timetable of subjects will have to be fixed at the local level.
Pursuant to the reference letter (ii), according to the academic calendar of the academic year 2031-9, the schools have to take the first examination of Std. 9 to 12 during the current year from 16/10/2071 to 8/10/2021. Thus, all the schools (Government / Granted / Private) recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education have taken into consideration the following instructions regarding the aforesaid first examination.
Planning has to be done,
For Std. 9 to 12, question papers and timetable for subjects other than those mentioned in the above issue (subjects whose question papers will not be prepared by the board) will have to be prepared at school level at SVS level.
> The timetable prepared by the Board for the first examination is included in the enclosure (1). Accordingly the date and time written by the Board for the prescribed subjects throughout the State
Simultaneously planning and implementation will have to be done in unison.
- Planning for subjects other than this will have to be decided at SVS level. E.g. The date and time for the subjects prescribed by the Board for Std-12 Science stream have been indicated and the remaining subjects XXXX "SVS Complex will have to arrange the subjects as per its plan in the box indicated.
> Examinations for subjects other than the question papers prepared by the Board in the subject group in the timetable shown in enclosure (1) for Std. 12 General Stream, North Stream, Basic Stream and Professional Stream where the "X" mark is indicated Subjects planned at school level / SVS level should be included in the schedule.

Regarding the first examination of the subjects to be taken by the Board, a Nodal Officer (Class-II) has to be appointed from the District Education Officer level. This nodal officer will be considered as nodal officer for all unit test, first and second examination of standard 9 to 12 as well as annual examination of standard 9 and 12.
- The nodal officer has to create his own confidential email address separately. Jains will be used only for conducting examinations. Similarly, the nondal officer should instruct the SVS convener to create a confidential e-mail address which can be used only for testing / examination purposes only.
> Sealed soft copy of question papers in Gujarati Hindi English (GHE) language of the subjects mentioned in the resolution of the education department will be given in person to the nodal officer of all the districts on 05/102021 15 days before the examination. For this meeting of nodal officers and to accept question paper to be present at the office of the board on 09/10/2071 at 11:00 hrs.
- For the first examination of the subjects prescribed by the Board, only the question papers prepared by the Board shall be used, other question papers may not be used. As well as prescribed by the Board.
