You are well aware that state level celebrations on 1st May, (Gujarat Foundation Day), 15th August (Independence Day) and 9th January (Republic Day) have been held at the district headquarters since the year 2005. It has also been decided to hold district level celebrations at the headquarters of one of the talukas from the year 2005. Subsequently, instructions have been issued to hold taluka level celebrations at any one village level and in any ward where the municipal corporation exists.

In view of the aforesaid matters, for the celebration of Republic Day, 9th January, 2072, at the district level, in consultation with the Honorable Minister of the District, Minister in charge / Co-Minister in charge and Secretary in charge, decided the taluka for this celebration and sent its information to this department by 31/12/2021. Considering the provisions of the aforesaid resolution, the village which is to be held at the village level has to be selected.
. In Girsomnath district, it has been decided to celebrate the state level Republic Day, January 9, 206. Therefore, Girsomnath district will not have to send information for district level celebrations, but considering the above instructions, taluka level celebrations will have to be organized at village level.
