A total of 51 new textbooks in 18 subjects will be introduced in the state from the new academic session. Since the books of Std-3 to 10 and Std-12 have not been changed for a long time, they have been changed. These 51 books have been printed since they were ready and are known to have reached the market. Also, some books will be changed next year, the sources said. Thus, like every year, this time around, some of the books have been changed.

4 books prepared for Technical High School

Textbooks of new vacation courses have also been prepared to be introduced in Std-Technical High Schools. In which books on Engineering Workshop Technology, Engineering Drawing, Electrical and Electronics Hardware Technology and Computer Technology have been prepared in Gujarati medium.

From Po-10 and Std-12's new 51 New 3's 1, Std-4's 1, Std-5's 2, Po-no 2, Std-8's ?, Std-10's! And Std-12. The subject book has been modified. Books have not been changed for many years in the state from the new academic session as per the need of the present time

Introduction:


In the schools recognized by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, students have to study a total of 9 subjects in Std-10. In which three languages ​​and subjects like Mathematics, Science and Social Science are compulsory. The seventh has optional subjects as the subject. Even students who do not want to go into science stream after Std-10 cannot continue their studies due to failing in Mathematics in Std-10. Such students should have the opportunity to study further.


The National Education Policy-2020 has given the option of giving two options in the assessment of students in subjects like mathematics. To give the option of two types of question papers in the subject of mathematics in the public examination of Std. 10 conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board to the students studying in Std. 10 in the schools recognized by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. The proposal was made by letter dated 07/10/2018. The matter was under active consideration of the Government. Resolution:


At the end of the adult consideration, in the schools recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, from the academic year 2061-6, in the public examination of Std.

In the public examination, two different types of question papers will be given in Mathematics Standard, Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic. The student has to choose that option while filling the board exam quorum.

Students who fail in Std-10 Maths Standard will be able to appear in the supplementary examination subject to the rules of supplementary examination by giving re-Maths Standard or Mathematics Basic option.
