Considering the current situation of Corona, Merit Based Progression (Mass Promotion) has been announced in all the Universities of Gujarat by the Government of Gujarat, Department of Education.
50% marks remaining on the basis of internal evaluation
50% marks will be calculated on the basis of last given semester examination.
This advertisement will be applicable only to the courses which have Intermediate in Semester 2, 3, 4.
In case the practical test is not taken, the marks will be given as above but if the practical test has been taken, the marks obtained will be given.
Let us understand by example how the marks will be calculated.
E.g. In case the student has got 90 marks out of 50 marks of internal assessment in the university and immediately the student has got 90 marks out of 100 marks in the previous semester university examination, the marks will have to be calculated as under.
ગણતરી Calculation of 50% total marks of internal assessment
Marks obtained from internal assessment 20 e.g. 20 marks
Total Marks of Internal Evaluation 50 × 50/50: 2.3 Marks
✅ Calculate 50% marks of the previous semester immediately
Immediately the total marks of the previous semester i.e. 50% of 50 = 2 marks
33,33+35 -68.33% - 68 marks (Counting Integers)
